About Philip Mongelluzzo Jr.
Philip Mongelluzzo Jr., MD., is a physician, author, and motivational speaker based in Waterbury, Connecticut. He has years of experience in the field, with an emphasis on helping people become their best and healthiest version of themselves. One of Phil’s most meaningful goals in life is teaching his patients and helping them understand prevention practices.
As with many medical experts, Philip Mongelluzzo Jr.’s career began with an education. He attended Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. He graduated in 1998 with a Doctor of Medicine. Philip received The Aesculapian Student Humanitarian Award for his class three times. Following that, Dr. Mongelluzzo attended Atlanta Medical Center for his first two years of his Primary Care Residency. He completed his third year of his Primary Care Residency at Yale University.
Over the years, Philip Mongelluzzo Jr. has had the opportunity to take on several interesting and challenging roles. One of his first professional roles was with the Waterbury, Connecticut, Board of Health. As a Commissioner, he oversaw the city’s health-related issues and formulated health-focused plans. Other roles Philip has taken on include Director of Alternative Health Care (St. Mary’s Hospital), where he was responsible for overseeing the integration of Reflexology, Chiropractic Care, Reiki, and Energy Work with Allopathic Medicine.
The truth is that Philip Mongelluzzo Jr. has always been an entrepreneur at heart. With time and practice, Philip has found ways to blend his entrepreneurial spirit with his passion for the medical industry. In 2002, Phil founded Dr. Philip A. Mongelluzzo, Jr. LLC, which offered a wide variety of Allopathic and Alternative Health Care options. Phili kept this business running from 2002 to 2019. In 2017, Philip founded Pulse4Pulse, LLC. Phil is still active in this organization as the CMO.Care Beyond Medicine, PLLC, is one of two recent projects Phil is focused on. Care Beyond launched in June 2021. Finally, there’s Next Level Care CT, LLC. Next Level Care is Phil’s newest initiative, founded in January 2023. Next Level Care is a Concierge Internal Medicine Practice.
Philip Mongelluzzo Jr. has always made an effort to share his experience and knowledge with others. For a time, he was a Pharmaceutical Speaker and Peer Educator. In 2008, Philip created ThirtySecondsToSuccess.com, a training seminar for the pharmaceutical industry with the goal of helping others improve their communication skills between sectors.. This led directly to Philip Mongelluzzo Jr. publishing his first novel in 2015. It was titled “Achieving Health and Happiness with 30 Daily Doables.”
As an active and giving person, Philip Mongelluzzo Jr. enjoys finding ways to help his community during his free time. For example, he’s served as he Varsity Head Coach for Holy Cross High School Girl’s Soccer from 2016-2023. . Given Philip’s concern with personal fitness, it makes complete sense that he would spend his spare time giving back to aspiring athletes.
